This post is to create a list of resources - story times, open gym times, music classes, ECFE information, Web sites that are helpful, exercise/health for Momma, etc. I'll start the list with things we talked about at the playdate today as well as some other events/resources I know about. Whew! What a list to start! Hope you all know more good resources that we can add!! Can't wait to see what you know about that I don't know about!
It was great meeting everyone! Linnea enjoyed seeing all the other babies.
ReplyDeleteI will add on to the story times, the Dakota County library system also does baby storytimes weekly or monthly depending on which city branch. Here is the link to the calendar http://host6.evanced.info/melsa/dakota/eventcalendar.asp
Otherwise, as long as the weather holds we could even just hit up a park, throw down some blankets and let the babies roll around in the fresh air. Picnic theme? Baby swings? Just a thought.
Also, the Eagan Community Center has an open gym time for ages 1-5 for $3 with babies under 1 admitted free. They put down soft mats and have scooters and other gym equipment to play with. It's geared more towards the preschool age but if they welcome babies, then I'm all for it. They also have an indoor playground called The Blast, if you're looking for something for your 18 month+ kid. Or, think rainy day next summer for our babies! Anyway, those are my two cents. Can't wait for all the fun we'll have!
